Jalyx Hunt is listed as questionable for Monday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboysafter remaining limited throughout the Eagles’ practice week.
Hunt is dealing with knee and ankle injuries after missing last week’s loss to Carolina. Philadelphia listed him as limited Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, leaving his return uncertain heading into the divisional matchup. His availability matters even more because Nolan Smith has been ruled out with a concussion, and Jonathan Greenard is listed as questionable with an ankle injury.
Hunt has recorded 15 tackles, including 12 solo stops, through five appearances this season. He finished last season with 52 tackles, 6.5 sacks and three interceptions, demonstrating the different ways he can contribute
to Philadelphia’s defense.
Having Hunt available would give defensive coordinator Vic Fangio another option to set the edge, pressure Dak Prescott and distribute snaps across an injured position group. AJ Epenesa and Arnold Ebiketie have no game designations after practicing fully on Saturday, providing Philadelphia with some stability in the rotation.
Hunt’s questionable designation leaves his status unresolved. Monday’s inactive list, released about 90 minutes before kickoff, will determine whether he can return as the Eagles try to avoid a fifth straight loss.
