The Philadelphia Eagles signed center Jake Majors and running back Carson Steele to the active roster Friday, adding depth at two positions hurt by injuries ahead of Sunday’s London matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Philadelphia also placed defensive tackle Uar Bernard on the practice squad injured list, the team announced, and released Andy Dalton.
Majors joins the active roster, with center Drew Kendall ruled out with a knee injury. His addition gives the Eagles another option inside as they adjust to the trade that sent Cam Jurgens to Baltimore. The roster move does not establish who will start at center Sunday.
Steele provides another backfield option, with Saquon Barkley ruled out with a hamstring injury and Tank Bigsby on injured
reserve. Will Shipley and Dameon Pierce can also help handle the workload in Barkley’s absence.

The additions give Philadelphia more flexibility as it prepares to face Jacksonville with a depleted offense. The Eagles enter Week 5 at 2-2 and are seeking to end a two-game losing streak.
