The Eagles will face Carolina without Saquon Barkley, but DeVonta Smith, Dontayvion Wicks and Jonathan Greenard are set to play after finishing Friday’s practice as full participants. Philadelphia’s final injury report listed seven players as out and four as questionable, leaving Tanner McKee to make his first start of the season without the team’s top running back.
Barkley remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. Jalen Hurts, listed with a calf injury after being ruled out because of a superficial blood clot, also will not play. Michael Carter II (abdomen), A.J. Epenesa (back), Jalyx Hunt (knee/ankle), Will Shipley (foot) and Landon Dickerson (knee) round out the players listed as out. Shipley was also placed on injured reserve Friday. With
Tank Bigsby already on injured reserve, Dameon Pierce and Carson Steele are positioned to handle Philadelphia’s backfield work against the Panthers.
Smith’s return gives McKee an established receiving threat after the wideout worked through hamstring and toe injuries. Wicks also finished as a full participant with a hamstring injury after missing Thursday’s session. Neither received a game designation. Greenard’s availability boosts Vic Fangio’s pass rush with Hunt out. Greenard was a full participant Friday with an ankle injury and received no game designation.

Drew Kendall (knee), Jakorian Bennett (knee), Grant Calcaterra (back) and Eli Stowers (quad) were listed as questionable. Kendall was limited Friday, while Bennett, Calcaterra, and Stowers fully participated. Bennett, Calcaterra, and Stowers have been working through their return windows from injured reserve; their game designations do not indicate activation.
Philadelphia enters Sunday at 2-3 and is looking to end a three-game losing streak. Getting Smith, Wicks and Greenard back helps, but the Eagles will still be without Hurts, Barkley and several other contributors.
