The Eagles’ six-game losing streak has changed the conversation surrounding the Nov. 10 NFL trade deadline. Philadelphia must now decide whether short-term continuity is worth more than an additional 2027 draft pick.
Here are five players whose futures could be impacted over the next ten days.
Dallas Goedert
Goedert remains a dependable target and one of the roster’s most accomplished postseason performers. However, rookie Eli Stowers’ emergence could make Philadelphia more willing to discuss the veteran tight end if a contender offers meaningful value.
Moro Ojomo
Ojomo is playing on the final year of his rookie contract, and the Eagles have already made major financial commitments to Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis. Ojomo has not recorded a sack this season, but he remains
a useful interior defender who could strengthen a contender’s rotation.
Nolan Smith
Smith is under team control through 2027 after Philadelphia exercised his fifth-year option. That control should increase his value. The Eagles should have little incentive to move him cheaply, but edge rushers routinely draw interest near the deadline.
Riq Woolen
Woolen’s size, speed, and Super Bowl experience make him an appealing option for teams needing help at cornerback. Philadelphia must determine whether he fits its long-term secondary or offers a chance to recover draft capital.
Zack Baun
Trading Baun would require a substantial return. He is a proven defensive leader and not an expiring-contract rental, but an aggressive contender could force Philadelphia to consider an offer that improves its long-term flexibility.
Final analysis
Howie Roseman should not conduct a clearance sale. The Eagles still need credible veterans around their younger core. However, standing still also costs Philadelphia if it loses players later without receiving comparable value.
