The Philadelphia Eagles will hold their annual open training camp practice at Lincoln Financial Field on Tuesday night, giving fans their best opportunity to watch the team prepare for the 2026 season. Practice is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. ET. The session comes during an important final week of the preseason, with Philadelphia set to host the Cincinnati Bengals on Friday before reducing its roster to 53 players by Sunday’s 6 p.m. deadline.
Most of the starting lineup has already been established, but several important competitions remain. Andy Dalton and Tanner McKee are still battling for the backup quarterback job, while roster decisions remain at wide receiver, tight end, defensive back and along both lines. The practice will also provide
one of the first actual opportunities to evaluate Makai Lemon after the first-round receiver returned to full participation Monday. Fans should also monitor Cooper DeJean’s versatility, Ty Robinson’s continued rise and how Philadelphia distributes repetitions among its reserve offensive linemen.

Biggest Eagles storylines to monitor
Jalen Hurts and the starting offense
The open practice could provide one of the final extended looks at Hurts and Philadelphia’s starters before the regular-season opener against the Washington Commanders. Their operation, timing and ability to avoid penalties will matter more than individual highlight plays.
The backup quarterback competition
McKee enters the session with preseason momentum after throwing two touchdown passes against New England. Dalton brings considerably more experience, but the Eagles continue listing both quarterbacks together behind Hurts.
Final roster spots
Darius Cooper, Britain Covey, Shaun Wade, Carson Steele and several reserve offensive linemen remain among the players with opportunities to influence Philadelphia’s final roster decisions. Special teams repetitions could be as important as their work on offense or defense.
