The Philadelphia Eagles released their first unofficial depth chart of the preseason ahead of Saturday night’s matchup against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium. Compiled by the Eagles Communications department as of Aug. 11, the depth chart offers an initial look at Philadelphia’s projected starters, primary reserves and ongoing position competitions.
As always, an unofficial depth chart shouldn’t be viewed as a final roster projection. Practice repetitions, injuries, preseason performances, and special teams contributions will continue to shape the roster before Philadelphia makes its initial cuts.
Eagles offensive depth chart
The Eagles list three starting wide receivers, with DeVonta Smith, Makai Lemon and Dontayvion Wicks occupying the top spots. Andy Dalton and Tanner
McKee share the No. 2 quarterback designation behind Jalen Hurts.
Eagles defensive depth chart
Cooper DeJean is listed as the starter at both nickel cornerback and one safety position, reflecting the flexibility Philadelphia has explored throughout training camp. Andrew Mukuba occupies the other starting safety spot.
Eagles special teams depth chart
Britain Covey remains listed as Philadelphia’s primary punt returner, while Will Shipley leads the kickoff-return group. Those roles could become important when the Eagles begin making decisions at wide receiver and running back.
