Six months after publicly revealing a breast cancer diagnosis, Vanessa Trump, the girlfriend of golf superstar Tiger Woods, announced Friday that she is cancer-free.
The news came via a video posted by Kai Trump, who plays golf at the University of Miami. Kai is the daughter of Vanessa and Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of President Donald Trump. The pair divorced in 2018 and in March 2025, Vanessa Trump and Woods went public with their relationship.
Kai Trump posted a short preview clip of her mother saying she's cancer-free on Instagram Friday afternoon before publishing the entire 33-minute video on her YouTube channel, which has more than 1.5 million subscribers.
The first few minutes of the video featured Kai, Vanessa and Dr. Nicole Saphier,
a radiologist and author. The three women discussed the importance of breast cancer prevention and early detection. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The rest of the video featured just Vanessa and Kai, as Vanessa, 48, detailed her own journey through diagnosis and treatment, and included a photo of Woods posing with the family as they celebrated the ringing of the bell ― a ceremonial hospital tradition for someone who is deemed cancer-free.

Speculation has been swirling in recent weeks regarding Woods' potential return to competitive golf after he was seen hitting balls at an event at Pebble Beach Resorts. PGA Tour pro and NBC golf analyst Kevin Kisner also said on a podcast that he was told Woods is planning to play a "full schedule" in the upcoming season of TGL, an indoor simulator league co-founded by Woods. A spot in the field at the 2026 PNC Championship is reportedly being held for Woods and his son, Charlie.
Kai Trump, a freshman on the Miami women's golf team, underwent wrist surgery earlier this month after playing in a pair of college events hosted by Golfweek.
