What is the story about?

The Official World Golf Ranking has been updated for the week of October 27, 2026, and Scottie Scheffler is still safely atop the list.

Min Woo Lee, who withdrew from the DP World Tour in India two weeks ago due to a stomach illness that triggered back spasms, actually jumped two spots in the ranking this week, from No. 33 to No. 31.

Also, the only movement in the top 10 came as Xander Schauffele and Russell Henley swapped places, Schauffele moving up to No. 8 while Henley dropped to No. 9.

The OWGR system is calculated by awarding points from eligible tours and events to participating players over a rolling two-year period. Players are ranked weekly based on the amount of points they earn divided by the number of events they played in to reach

an average total. Points hold their full value for a 13-week period and are then reduced in equal decrements. The current ranking for the Top 50 golfers in the world appears below.
