LPGA star Jessica Korda and husband Johnny DelPrete announced the birth of their second child, Olivia Regina DelPrete. The middle name, of course, is in honor of Korda's mother, a former world-class tennis player and Olympian.
"Mom is no longer outnumbered," joked Korda in her Instagram post. Korda's first child, Greyson John DelPrete, was born in February 2024.
A six-time winner on the LPGA, the 33-year-old Korda is the elder sister of No. 1 Nelly Korda. Both Jessica and Greyson made the jump into the temporary pool at the Chevron Championship earlier this year when Korda won her third major title. Over the summer, it was Jessica who convinced Nelly to change her grip at the U.S. Women's Open at Riviera, leading to Nelly's fourth major crown.
Earlier this season, Jessica made two starts on the LPGA at the Ford Championship and Aramco Championship, marking the first time in three years that the sisters had teed it up in the same official LPGA event.
Back injuries have plagued Jessica over the years, and in 2023, she took an indefinite break from full-time golf to try and heal. As Nelly has risen to great heights in the women's game in recent years, Jessica has been by her side.

Nelly, who is in the midst of a two-month break from the tour, will no doubt get plenty of baby time. She's always eager to spoil.
"I mean, she's just such an amazing mom," said Nelly earlier this season after Jessica announced her pregnancy, "and to see her step into that role two years ago with Greyson, I've never seen her so happy."
