The final round of the 2026 3M Open was the most-watched on record, with 3.713 million viewers tuning in to see the 21-year-old win his third professional start. The broadcast peaked with 4.874 million viewers.
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler shot 63 on Sunday, trying to chase down the wunderkind Koivun, who ended up beating Scheffler by three shots at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota. The runner-up was Scheffler's fifth in 2026. His lone win remains at his first event of the year, the American Express.

This is the most watched golf season on CBS to date since 2006, with an average of 3.495
million viewers. CBS has broadcast rights for the remaining five tournaments, two regular-season events and the FedEx Cup Playoffs.
Koivun is in the field at this week's Rocket Classic in Detroit, along with Cameron Young, Wyndham Clark, Xander Schauffele and plenty other big names.
