OOLTEWAH, TN. — The 2026 U.S. Women's Amateur is heading into the final day of stroke play.
Come Wednesday night, the field will be cut to the top 64 players, who will advance to Wednesday's first round of match play at The Honors Course. If needed, a playoff will be held to determine the final match play spots.
On Tuesday, Japan's Anna Iwanaga set the pace with a blistering 5-under performance and has a two-shot lead after the first day.

U.S. Women's Amateur format
Every player in the field will compete in 36 holes of stroke play on Tuesday and Wednesday, where
the field will be cut to the low 64 players for match play, which begins Thursday. A playoff will be used if needed to determine the 64 players. Then, the Round of 64 takes place Thursday, Rounds of 32 and 16 on Friday, quarterfinals and semifinals on Saturday and the 36-hole championship final on Sunday.
