How many points does a team need to win the Presidents Cup?
The winning team needs to get to at least 15½ points to win the Cup. Therefore, the Internationals will need to win five of the 12 Sunday singles matches, while the U.S. will need to win eight of the 12.

Sunday is the day for singles. All 12 golfers from each side will be in action, with each match worth one point.

Presidents Cup past winners
The U.S. has historically dominated the Presidents Cup, amassing a 13-1-1 record since the event's inception in 1994. In the most recent edition, the Americans won the 2024 Presidents Cup at Royal Montreal Golf Club in Canada by a score of 18½ to 11½. The International Team's only victory came in 1998. The 2003 Presidents Cup ended in a tie.
