One of the more popular golfers in the game will be going racing this weekend. John Daly and Spire Motorsports have teamed up on some wild paint schemes for this weekend's races at NASCAR’s 2026 Championship Weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida.
Daly's animated face will be plastered on the hood of the No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 driven by Daniel Suarez in Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race. Ahead of the marquee event of the weekend near Miami is Friday's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race and Daly will also be featured in that one on the hood of the No. 77 Chevrolet Silverado RST driven by Nick Sanchez in the Baptist Health 200.

In recent years, Daly has been known for wearing wild pants and the two upcoming paint schemes are
right in lie with that sort of out-loud visual. The Spire Motorsports vehicles feature "bold palette of hot pink, electric cyan, violet and orange highlighted by a racing stripe built from small Daly portraits in loud pop-art color," according to Spire Motorsports.
"Some paint schemes are designed to blend in. This isn’t one of them,” Spire Motorsports President Bill Anthony said in a press release. “Modo has never been shy about having fun with this sport, and John Daly is the perfect fit for that personality. We’re proud to carry their colors on both the No. 77 and the No. 7 at Homestead, and we are confident fans will spot them from the top row of the grandstands. We’re grateful to Modo for bringing this kind of energy to the finale and giving fans one more reason to smile at Homestead."
Daly, who is among other things a brand ambassador for Modo, tabbed as America's Super Gaming App, will attend Sunday’s Cup race and plans to join Suarez and his entire No. 7 team on the starting grid before the green flag.
“I’ve had my face on a lot of things over the years, but never on a NASCAR Cup car doing 180 mph,” said Daly in the same press release. “Usually, it’s my pants getting all the attention, but now I’ve got a race car stealing the show. I’ll be at Homestead cheering on Daniel and watching a few hundred of me flying around the track. Hopefully, they can go faster than I can walk to the 19th hole!”
