LOS CABOS – Christo Lamprecht made a Tom Brady at the 460-yard par-4 15th hole at El Cardonal at Diamante on Saturday.
No, this doesn’t have anything to do with Brady’s incredible seven Super Bowl titles but rather the retired New England Patriots quarterback great’s uniform number. The lanky South African carded a 12 at the Tiger Woods-designed layout during the third round of the PGA Tour's 2026 World Wide Technology Championship in Los Cabos, Mexico.
The dogleg-left hole plays uphill, with bunkers framing the left side of the tee shot. A deceptive wide landing area lies beyond the bunkers.
Lamprecht ripped his tee shot left of left, or as ShotLink termed it, “to unknown,” and he had to re-tee and take a penalty. He kept his third shot on the
planet but tugged this one into the left native area. He hacked out into a fairway bunker and that’s when the adventure really began.

His shot tracking on PGA Tour.com looks like a kid drawing on an Etch-a-Sketch and included multiple shots of ping-pong back and forth before he finally found the putting surface with his 10th shot. The green’s distinct undulations adds to the complexity of the hole and Lamprecht got the full Tiger treatment at 15.
Lamprecht missed the 34-foot putt and tapped in from 19 inches.
But not before having to scratch two numbers in the box at 15 for a dozen. Suffice it to say, Lamprecht, who made the cut by a shot after rounds of 70-68, plummeted to last in the field as he moved in the wrong direction on Moving Day.
