The inaugural playing of the PGA Tour’s Austin Championship will not go forward without a significant sponsor after all.
With just two weeks before the tournament gets underway, Golfweek has learned from local sources that Compliance Solutions is expected to be announced as a presenting sponsor of the 2026 FedEx Cup Fall event, scheduled for Nov. 12-15 at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa’s Fazio Canyons Course in Austin, Texas. An official announcement from the PGA Tour is expected soon, potentially as early as Monday.

The tournament was originally launched as the Good Good Championship, but Good Good stepped away from the title sponsorship following backlash over a promotional video produced in conjunction with then-partner Callaway. The advertisement,
which promoted a new Callaway driver, drew criticism for depicting a man shoving a woman to the ground.
The addition of Compliance Solutions, the largest privately owned hazmat training company in the environmental industry, provides the event with a significant corporate partner ahead of its debut and offers renewed stability as the Tour continues preparations for the tournament’s first edition in Austin.
Compliance Solutions has served as title sponsor of the Compliance Solutions Championship, a Korn Ferry Tour event, since 2023, and sponsored the Route 66 Cup, a season-long competition with a $100,000 bonus pool that concluded at its tournament at the Patriot Golf Club in Owasso, Oklahoma.
