Where is the Biltmore Championship Asheville being played?
The Cliffs at Walnut Cove in
Asheville, North Carolina, is the host venue. The golf course will play as a par 72 and will measure 7,249 yards. It was designed by Jack Nicklaus. This will be the first PGA Tour event in the area since the 1942 Asheville Land of Sky Open. For those who may not quite remember (i.e., probably most of us), Ben Hogan won it for his third straight title in the event.

Field, prize money for 2026 Biltmore
The field originally had Justin Thomas, one of eight Presidents Cup members from the U.S. in the field but Sunday evening he withdrew. J.T. What is the FedEx Cup Fall series?
The FedEx Fall series has great variety in terms of locations and formats. There are eight PGA Tour events, two of them new to the schedule and four of them to be held outside the U.S. After the Biltmore is the 16th Presidents Cup and then the Fall series resumes.
While there may be a little dropoff in star power in the Fall, there's still tons to play for, as winners of these events earn:
- Two-year exemption on the PGA Tour (through the 2028 season)
- Entry into season-opening Sentry (now being played at Torrey Pines) as well as the Players Championship
- A spot in the 2027 PGA Championship
In addition, golfers who get into the top 100 of the FedEx standings gain admission into 2026 full-field events and the Players. According to the PGA Tour: "Nos. 51-70 in the FedEx Cup at the start of the Fall have already clinched their top-100 eligibility for the following year but are competing for spots in the first two signature events following The Sentry." Further: "Nos. 71 and beyond can earn one of the 10 spots available in those signature events, but they also are competing to finish in the top 100 of the FedEx Cup standings at the conclusion of the Fall." Finally: "At the end of the FedEx Cup Fall, those who rank from 101-125 on the final FedEx Cup Fall Points List will have conditional status for the 2026 PGA Tour season."
Get all that?
