Two of the three FedEx Cup postseason events have traditionally been at the same two golf courses, but the middle of the three, the BMW Championship, floats around to a new location each season. This year, Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis has the honors.
The BMW has big money on the line, the same as last week's FedEx St. Jude Championship, as well as five of the signature events on the annual docket.

How much money is up for grabs at the 2026 BMW Championship?
There is a $20 million total prize fund up to be distributed among the 50 players who advanced from the St. Jude.
How much does the winner of the BMW Championship get?
The winner gets 18 percent of the prize fund, so in the case of this week, that'll be $3.6 million.

Total prize money on PGA Tour in 2026 surpasses $550 million
This week's haul of $3.6 million to the winner is only
lower than the three player-hosted signature events (Genesis, Arnold Palmer, Memorial) which have a $4 millioni first-place prize, three of the majors (Masters, PGA Championship, U.S. Open) and, of course, the Players Championship, the PGA Tour's flagship event which has the biggest payout on the schedule every year. It's all part of the more than $550 million that's been on the line during the 2026 PGA Tour season.
