Many golfers reach the top of their swing and aren’t quite sure how to transition into the downswing. Some try to pull the club too aggressively, sway and lose balance and over-rotate, leaving their sequencing a mess.
Professional long driver Averee Dovsek explains how a small, controlled movement can help initiate the downswing, maintain proper sequencing and allow the arms to work more effectively through impact.
Rather than forcing the club into position from the top, golfers can use a slight movement to start the downswing and allow the rest of the body to follow. When that sequence is consistent, the arms have more room to work naturally and the club can move through the ball, producing better contact, more lag and flushed shots.
