Defending champion Ben Griffin and his fellow North Carolina Tar Heel teammate Ryan Gerard headline the field as the PGA Tour heads south of the border for the 20th edition of the World Wide Technology Championship.
At No. 23 in the Official World Golf Ranking, Gerard is the highest-ranked player in the field.
Other past champions include Patton Kizzire (2017), Matt Kuchar (2018), Brendan Todd (2019), Erik van Rooyen (2023), and Austin Eckroat (2024).

The future stars of the PGA Tour will be represented as well. Recent Korn Ferry Tour grad and 19-year-old sensation Blades Brown join PGA Tour U grads Ben James and Jackson Koivun, winner of the 3M Open, as well as U.S. Walker Cuppers Jay Leng and Preston Stout, the No. 1-ranked amateur in the world.
Stout earned his place in the field via his individual win at the 2026 Cabo Collegiate.
Other PGA Tour U grads in the field include Luke Clanton, David Ford and Gordon Sargent, who are battling for exempt status for 2027. Several veteran Tour winners will make an appearance in Cabo, including Tony Finau, Billy Horschel and Lucas Glover. European Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald is in the field too among 120 players who will compete during the 20th anniversary of Mexico’s pioneering Tour event from Nov. 5-8.
