Michael Brennan shot a final-round 3-under 68 at Yokohama Country Club on Sunday to win the Baycurrent Classic for his third win on the PGA Tour in just 33 career starts.
The 24-year-old made back-to-back birdies at Nos. 11 and 12 to take the lead and carded six pars down the stretch to edge Jacob Bridgeman and Keith Mitchell by one stroke with a 72-hole total of 16-under 268.
Brennan hit all 15 fairways in the final round, and 96 percent of the fairways during the tournament. Not surprisingly, he also led the field in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee.
He surged into a share of the lead with a third-round 65. On Sunday, Brennan birdied the fifth and sixth, but had fallen behind after an untidy bogey at No. 10 — his lone bogey of the day. Keith Mitchell,
who was 5 under through his first seven holes, and Stephen Jaeger, jumped to the top of the leaderboard but came unglued on the back. Mitchell failed to make a birdie after the eighth hole and missed a 10-foot birdie putt at 18 that could've tied for the lead. He settled for 68 and has now played 197 events since his lone victory on Tour at the 2019 Cognizant Classic. Jaeger carded four birdies on the front nine. He shared the lead at 16 under with a birdie at 13 but dropped three shots in the last five holes, settling for 70 and a T-4 finish.
Brennan previously won the 2025 Bank of Utah Championship and the Wyndham Championship in August.
"This is my first time in Japan, first time in Asia. It's been an amazing experience, I've loved it over here," he said.
