Built in 2005 for Faxon, the estate has an indoor putting green, fitting for one of the PGA Tour's historically great putters.

The current owner bought it six years ago. The 13,589-square-foot house has seven bedrooms with all the rooms on the back of the house facing

out to the ocean.

“This isn’t a house, it’s a lifestyle decision,” said Kim Marion of Engel & Volkers Barrington East Bay, the listing agent.. “There is nothing like it on the market like it in Rhode Island.”

Faxon won eight times on the PGA Tour and amassed close to $18 million in earnings. He made another $1.7 million with two wins on the PGA Tour Champions.
