After emerging from a long hiatus in 2025, the Skins Game will be played again in 2026.
The fan-favorite competition made its triumphant return to our television screens on Black Friday last year for the first time since 2008, bringing together four PGA Tour pros to compete in a friendly but high-stakes competition with a total purse of $4 million.
This year's Skins Game will be played Nov. 27 at the Atlantic Fields Club in Hobe Sound, Florida, and it will feature a new cast of stars: Justin Thomas, Wyndham Clark, Brooks Koepka and young phenom Jackson Koivun. The event will be streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

The competition itself will return to the original format of the Skins Game, which debuted in 1983. They are doing away with the "reverse purse" twist from last year, in which each player started with $1 million and the amount went up or down based on whether a player won or lost a hole. Instead, each player will start at $0, making every hole's value clearer and more obvious. Each hole carries a dollar value and tied holes will roll over, which can raise the stakes rather quickly.
In 2025, Keegan Bradley took home the biggest chunk, winning 11 skins for a total prize $2.1 million, while Tommy Fleetwood earned $1.7 million and Shane Lowry managed to win one skin for $200,000. Xander Schauffele was left with a big fat 0, which made for a pretty funny photo in the aftermath:

Thomas was initially slated to compete in the 2025 edition of the Skins Game, but had to pull out after undergoing back surgery that kept him out of competitive golf for nearly five months. He returned to the PGA Tour in March and put together a solid season, making all but one cut in 18 starts and racking up 11 top-25 finishes.
Thomas played a major role in helping the U.S. win the 2026 Presidents Cup last month, as did Jackson Koivun, who teamed up with Thomas on multiple occasions throughout the week at Medinah. As the world's top-ranked amateur, Koivun joined the PGA Tour in July after capping off arguably the greatest college golf career in history with a team national title at Auburn. He won the 2026 3M Open in just his third start as a pro and made the FedEx Cup Playoffs despite playing just five events.

Clark was also on the U.S. Presidents Cup team and made a strong case for 2026 PGA Tour Player of the Year. He secured his second major title by winning the U.S. Open at Shinnecock three weeks after nabbing his fifth-career Tour win at the Byron Nelson.
Koepka, meanwhile, experienced an up-and-down ride in his first season back on the PGA Tour after a three-year stint with LIV Golf. The five-time major champion recorded six top-25 finishes in 16 starts, but only cracked the top 10 once and failed to break into the winner's circle.
