The PGA Tour is on island time this week at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship at Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton. Perhaps that is why it is a slow week for changes in the caddie yard.
Two veteran caddies, however, have landed on new bags this week. The first is Steve “Pepsi” Hale, who is looping for Australian Aaron Baddeley. Hale is best known for his time with Keegan Bradley, including his victory at the 2011 PGA Championship, and earlier this year was on the bag for rising star Ryan Gerard until splitting in late April.

Baddeley, a 45-year-old four-time Tour winner, has made just six cuts in 17 starts and sits at No. 194 in the FedEx Cup Fall standings.
The other veteran
caddie with a new boss is Micah Fugitt, who was hired for the rest of the fall by Mark Hubbard. Fugitt was on the bag when Billy Horschel won the 2014 FedEx Cup and they had a second run working together this summer. Hubbard, who is seeking his first Tour title, had Matt Picanso for the past few years in his employ. He entered this week ranked No. 123 in the FedEx Cup Fall and is in need of a spark.
In other caddie moves, 17-year-old amateur prodigy Miles Russell is playing on a sponsor invite in Bermuda and has instructor Ramon Bescansa back on the bag. Russell used veteran caddie Paul Tesori at some events this summer. Tesori caddies regularly for Webb Simpson.
There are a bunch of players who have a caddie filling in for a spot start for one reason or another, including Tom Hoge, who has Brian Vranesh on the bag instead of Tom Gillis this week.
