What's the prize money at the 2026 Bank of Utah Championship?
The total purse this week is $6 million and the first-place check is $1.08 million.
Who are the past winners of the Bank of Utah Championship?
In 2024, Matt McCarty posted a final-round 4-under 67 on Sunday and win the inaugural Black Desert Championship in Ivins, Utah, in just his second start on the PGA Tour.
In 2025, Michael Brennan bombed his way around the course to win in just his third PGA Tour start.
Where is the Bank of Utah Championship played?
Black Desert Resort opened in 2023 and quickly rocketed up several of the Golfweek's Best rankings:
- No. 1 in the list of best public-access courses in Utah
- T-30 in the top 200 resort golf courses in the U.S.
- T-38 in the top 100 public-access golf courses in the U.S.
- 101 in the top 200 modern golf courses in the U.S.
The golf course plays as a par 71 and measures 7,421 yards for the pros. The property has dramatic lava rock outcroppings all over. The National Park Service reports that the latest volcanic eruption was 32,000 years ago from what is now Snow Canyon State Park, just a couple of miles north of the golf course. The site for Black Desert looks much more like something to be found in Hawaii, minus the ocean views, but with plenty of promise.
