Two days after WTGL revealed official rosters of the league's five teams, a media rights deal was announced. TMRW Sports has reached multi-year agreements with ESPN and Scripps Sports/ION to broadcast the competition.
While the entire schedule has yet to be released, the league will launch on Sunday, Nov. 8, which coincides with the final round of the LPGA's TOTO Japan Classic. WTGL matches and shoulder programming will be appear on ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2.
On ION, which is broadcast in 128 million homes nationally, the league will join a host of other women's sports programming including the WNBA, NWSL and PWHL.
ESPN has been home to the men's TGL since its inaugural 2024-25 season.
"We are genuinely excited to be the home for WTGL as it launches
its inaugural season this fall," said Rosalyn Durant, executive vice president, programming and acquisitions, in a release. "Bringing WTGL to fans across ESPN platforms continues our ongoing commitment to growing and elevating women's sports, supports our belief in the momentum of women’s golf and reflects our confidence in TMRW Sports' vision for engaging fans in new ways."
The full schedule, on-air talent list and production details will be announced at a later date.
