Miami sophomore Scarlett Schremmer has received an exemption into the LPGA's The Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, slated for Nov. 12-15 at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida.
Schremmer, who has won two times this fall, will make her LPGA debut at The Annika, the penultimate event on the LPGA's 2026 schedule. She joins Wake Forest senior Macy Pate and Epson Tour winner Annabelle Pancake-Webb as the event's three sponsor exemptions.
“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to compete against the best players in the world on the LPGA at The Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican in November,” Schremmer said in a release. “Thank you to Pelican Golf Club for this unbelievable opportunity. My mom played on the LPGA Tour, and it has always been
my goal to follow in her footsteps. Making my LPGA debut at Annika's event, someone I've looked up to my entire golf career, is very special."
Schremmer's second win this fall came last month at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic in Colorado, where she torched the tournament record books, finishing at 17 under, setting a scoring record and carding the second-lowest 54-hole individual score in Miami women’s golf history.
Schremmer was a three-time Rolex Junior All-American (2023-25), a member of the 2024 United States Junior Solheim Cup Team and is a two-time participant at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur. Her mother, Patricia Ehrhart, is a former LPGA Tour professional who was the season-long money winner on the 1996 Duramed Futures Tour (now Epson Tour).
“One of our goals through The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican is to elevate women’s sports and the game’s future stars, said Justin Sheehan, COO and Director of Golf at Pelican. “On behalf of Pelican Golf Club and the Doyle family, we are thrilled to offer Scarlett an invitation to compete in this year’s tournament. She is a tremendous college athlete who has had a great season at Miami thus far. We look forward to welcoming her to Pelican Golf Club for her first LPGA Tour event in November.”
Before taking up golf, Schremmer was a competitive surfer. She was a three-time under-18 national shortboard champion before transitioning to golf. The late Jimmy Buffett, a close family friend, sponsored Schremmer during her time as a competitive surfer and remained close to the family until his passing in 2023.
