Team match play competitions in golf are no stranger to high-profile spectators. It's common for celebrities, athletes and politicians alike to enjoy such events, but there are few guests, if any, more high-profile than one who will be in attendance Sunday at the 2026 Presidents Cup.
President Donald Trump plans to take in the festivities at Medinah Country Club near Chicago on Sunday, the final day of competition, which will feature all 12 golfers on both the U.S. and International teams competing in singles matches. Trump was named the honorary chairman for the event, as is customary for the leader of the host nation. Joe Biden assumed the same position for the 2022 edition at Quail Hollow.

The Presidents Cup is
not the only major sporting event on Trump's schedule this weekend, either. He's also expected to be at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee, on Saturday, as the Volunteers host the top-ranked Texas Longhorns in a marquee college football showdown. Tickets to that game have dropped since the president announced his plans to attend, with the get-in price about $100 lower than it was earlier in the week.

General admission tickets, also known as grounds passes, for Presidents Cup Sunday cost almost exactly the same as they did when Golfweek last looked at ticket prices on Sept. 18. Same goes for the Captains' Club. However, tickets to the International Club, a premium hospitality venue located at the turn, have dropped significantly. Here's the breakdown:
