Grass League made significant news Wednesday with the announcement of its first female general managers.
The Dallas Horsemen team named Alexis Miestowski and Marissa Wenzler as co-general managers. The two previously competed in the league's two-person scramble event, but now they take over a front office in the burgeoning pro golf circuit.
"We loved competing for the Horsemen, and stepping into the front office gives us the chance to shape the identity of this team," said Miestowski and Wenzler in a news release. "The Grass League has made one thing obvious: fans want intense, high‑stakes golf — and women can lead that charge. We're here to build a roster that performs well, set a culture that reflects the League's energy, and collect trophies
for Dallas."
Grass League bills itself as the "world’s first high-stakes par 3 golf league. It features competitive tournaments with both amateur and professional players in team-based formats."
Miestowski's and Wenzler's duties will include roster building and retention, tournament pairings and the duo will serve as the primary public faces of the franchise.
Miestowski was most recently with Good Good, which faced a flurry of controversy for an ad depicting a woman being knocked to the ground. Miestowski played the role of the woman in the ad. Miestowski and Wenzler were founding members of the Good Good Girls platform in 2005.
In a statement, Jason Pritchett, Grass League Commissioner, said:
"Alexis and Marissa taking the reins in Dallas further solidifies the inclusiveness of the Grass League. Los Angeles Roses 2025 Grass League Champion Gabi Ruffels showed women can win here. Now two women are not only playing but running the franchise."
Miestowski played college golf at Indiana before competing on the Epson Tour, while Wenzler played at Kentucky and later turned pro.
