If you've ever tuned into the TGL, there's a good chance you've gotten the itch to try your hand at the same wacky, unconventional simulator golf that you see the pros playing. Well, now you have that opportunity.
Topgolf has announced a new partnership with the TGL and WTGL, with plans to bring fans new experiences like match-night watch parties, exclusive promotions and even the chance to play some of the official holes seen on TV throughout the season.
The TGL was co-founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy in 2022 and it's operated by TMRW Sports, which is launching a women's version of the indoor golf league, WTGL, with the first match set for this Sunday, Nov. 8, at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
potential comeback: What Golfweek has learned about his return
Topgolf will kick off this new partnership with the its WTGL Challenge. Golfers can head to their local Topgolf to play the same holes that are featured on the WTGL and TGL, and three people who participate will win a $500 gift card for WTGL merchandise, with the winners selected at random.
Perhaps the partnership will even let fans play Stinger, the hole that requires players to hit one of Tiger's signature shots (a stinger) to avoid giant rocks hanging over the fairway:

Or maybe golfers will get to take their best shot at Cenote, a par-3 where they must find the right landing spot on a floating backstop behind the green and watch their ball trickle back toward the hole.

Topgolf's Toptracer technology is not only used by the TGL and WTGL, but it's often featured prominently on pro golf television broadcasts throughout the year and available to everyday golfers on more than 1,200 driving ranges and practice facilities around the world.
“Topgolf and Toptracer reach golfers everywhere, from avid fans to people picking up a club for the first time, which makes this partnership a natural fit for TGL and WTGL,” Rufus Hack, the president of TMRW Sports golf, said in a news release. “Fans won’t just watch our leagues, they’ll get to play them."
Fans will also have opportunities to win greenside tickets, suite access and behind-the-scenes passes to matches at the SoFi Center.
“TGL and WTGL are redefining how modern fans consume golf, which aligns perfectly with our mission to make the game more accessible through tech-driven innovation,” Topgolf and Toptracer CEO David McKillips said in the release. “Through our partnership with TMRW Sports, our Topgolf venues and Toptracer Range partners are able to turn casual viewers into active participants by giving millions of players a taste of TGL and WTGL action in real time.”
The first WTGL match will begin at 3 p.m. ET Sunday on ESPN. Los Angeles Golf Club, comprised of Michelle Wie West, Gaby Lopez, Kiara Romero, Aki Iwai and Alison Lee, will take on New York Golf Club, featuring Lydia Ko, Rose Zhang, Linn Grant, Yana Wilson and Danielle Kang.
Then, on Dec. 27, the TGL begins its third season with a matchup between Boston Common Golf and the league's very first expansion team, Motor City Golf Club. Rory McIlroy, Keegan Bradley, Shane Lowry, Hideki Matusyama and Michael Thorbjornsen will represent Boston Common this year, while the new Motor City Golf Club will consist of Brooks Koepka, Jackson Koivun, Si Woo Kim, Jake Knapp and Bud Cauley.
