The Presidents Cup Outright Winner
Cameron Jourdan: USA (-600)
The Presidents Cup could really use a good competition, but the chances of that happening are low. The Americans are the much-better team, and even with a lot of the team coming in having not played since the Tour Championship or before, it's hard to see a scenario where the Internationals pull off the upset. We need it badly, for the competition's sake, but I don't
think that's happening this year.
Adam Schupak: USA (-600)
If the U.S. loses this week, it will only be in possession of the Curtis Cup. Can't let that happen. The U.S. has been no match for the International Team. It's been Harlem Globetrotters against the Washington Generals, one of the most predictable results in sports and I don't see any reason why that will change this time at Medinah.
Tim Schmitt: USA (-600)
Our Eamon Lynch said this week that the worst thing for the Presidents Cup would be an International upset of the Americans. Good news, Eamon. That won't happen. Sure, the Americans are not the historic -750 favorite they were for the 2022 Cup at Quail Hollow Club, but it's darn near close.
Nick Stavas: USA (-600)
I really wanted to be a contrarian and ride with the Internationals, but I just can't bring myself to do it. The Americans have won this event 10 straight times and I don't see this year's team being the one to lose that streak. While the International squad certainly has talent, they just don't have the depth to truly scare the U.S. side. Here's hoping that it's at least competitive.
Mark Giannotto: USA (-600)
Maybe the International team keeps it close in fourball and foursomes to create some Sunday drama, but they're more likely to be overwhelmed once again. The Americans have nine of the 10 best golfers at this year's Presidents Cup based on the world golf rankings and it'll bear out over four days at Medinah.
Blake Schuster: Internationals (+550)
I don't have a great reason here, but the vibes have been so off for U.S. teams in these competitions lately that I'm willing to take a chance on a clear underdog on foreign soil. The Americans have a clear talent advantage, but many of these guys haven't played in weeks, and Medinah isn't really a place you go to shake off rust. Meanwhile, the Internationals have gamers like Hideki Matsuyama, Adam Scott and Min Woo Lee. If the Americans don't take care of business early, they will feel the pressure the rest of the way.
