The regular season is over. Now it's time for the playoffs. The first of three FedEx Cup postseason events is this week at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee, and there's big money on the line. The total prize fund and first-place check are the same as the eight signature events that were on the docket earlier this year.
And, like the sigs, there's no cut, so everyone in the field gets paid.
2026 FedEx St. Jude Championship prize money payouts
There is a $20 million total prize fund up for grabs for the 69 players in the field (70 players qualified but Daniel Berger opted out of playing).
How much does the winner of the FedEx St. Jude Championship get?
As with most PGA Tour stops, the winner gets 18 percent of the prize fund, so in the case of this week, that'll be $3.6 million.
Total prize money on PGA Tour in 2026 surpasses $550 million
This week's haul of $3.6 million to the winner is only lower than the three player-hosted signature events (Genesis, Arnold Palmer, Memorial), three of the majors (Masters, PGA Championship, U.S. Open) and, of course, the Players Championship, the PGA Tour's flagship event which has the biggest payout on the schedule every year. It's all part of the more than $550 million that's been on the line during the 2026 PGA Tour season.
