If you've been following the PGA Tour this fall and paying attention to the prize money each week, there's a trend, and it's something that'll be more common in the future.
This week, the Tour resumes play in Mexico at the 2026 World Wide Technology Championship at El Cardonal in Los Cabos, where Ben Griffin is the defending champion. And this week, he and the field will play for a purse of $6 million, with the winner taking home $1.08 million.
The purse is the same as it has been the past two weeks, and that will be a common theme once the Tour splits to the Championship Series and Challenger Series, when the purses will be the same week after week. And as has been the case in three straight PGA Tour events this fall, the purse is $6 million.
Here's a look at the purse and prize money payouts for the 2026 World Wide Technology Championship.
