The Tampa Bay Buccaneers released their list of inactive players ahead of Sunday's Week 2 matchup with the Cleveland Browns, with rookie cornerback Jacob Parrish among the six players who will not suit up.
Parrish entered the weekend listed as questionable with a back injury and was considered a game-time decision. His absence leaves Tampa Bay without one of the young defensive backs who played a role in the secondary during the season-opening loss to Cincinnati.
According to Buccaneers Communications, cornerback Ayden Garnes, guards Luke Haggard and Billy Schrauth, and defensive linemen DeMonte Capehart and Elijah Simmons will also be inactive against Cleveland.
Tampa Bay did get some better news elsewhere. Wide receiver Jalen McMillan is not
on the inactive list after entering the weekend questionable with a knee injury. His absence from the list means he is active for Sunday's game after missing Week 1 against Cincinnati.
The Bucs also elevated safety Ifeatu Melifonwu for Sunday's game, giving Tampa Bay another option in the secondary with Parrish and Garnes inactive.
