The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without four players when they face the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night.
Head coach Todd Bowles ruled out quarterback Baker Mayfield, cornerback Benjamin Morrison, linebacker SirVocea Dennis, and safety Antoine Winfield Jr. following Wednesday's practice, according to Scott Smith of Buccaneers.com.
All four players had been unable to participate during Tampa Bay's first two days of preparation for Dallas. Mayfield is dealing with a right thumb injury, Morrison has a quad injury, Dennis has ankle and foot injuries, and Winfield has a rib injury.
Mayfield will miss his second consecutive game after sitting out Tampa Bay's 17-14 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Rookie Jalon Daniels will make his second NFL start after completing
19 of 27 passes for 148 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions against Green Bay. Daniels also rushed for 55 yards in eight carries.
Morrison has appeared in three games this season, while Dennis has played in all four. Winfield played 55 defensive snaps against Green Bay before leaving the game with a rib injury.
One notable name was absent from Bowles' list of players ruled out. Rookie outside linebacker Rueben Bain Jr. was a full participant on both Monday and Tuesday after missing the previous two games with groin and shoulder injuries.
The Buccaneers will release their final Week 5 injury report Wednesday afternoon ahead of Thursday night's game at AT&T Stadium.
