The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have started filling out the other half of their roster following the NFL's cutdown deadline.
After establishing their initial 53-man roster, the Bucs announced a 16-player practice squad that features a mix of familiar faces and outside additions. Tampa Bay brought back a few players who spent training camp and the preseason with the team, while quarterback Easton Stick and safety Ifeatu Melifonwu are among the new names joining the organization.
Here is the Buccaneers' initial practice squad, according to Buccaneers.com:
Quarterback
- Easton Stick

- Josh Williams
Wide receivers
- Garrett Greene
- Dean Patterson
- Eric Rivers
Tight end
- Devin Culp
Offensive line

Outside linebacker
- Yasir Holmes
Linebacker

The practice squad gives Tampa Bay additional depth throughout the season, and players can be elevated to the active roster as needed. It also lets the Bucs keep developing some of the players who narrowly
missed the initial 53-man roster. The practice squad may also change in the coming days ahead of Week 1 against the Bengals.
With the active roster and practice squad now taking shape, Tampa Bay can turn its attention toward preparing for its Week 1 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
