The Baltimore Ravens will take Zay Flowers’ availability to the final minutes before Sunday’s matchup against the Dallas Cowboys in Brazil.
Flowers is considered a game-time decision because of the hamstring injury that kept him out of Baltimore’s Week 2 loss to the New Orleans Saints. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Ravens plan to put Flowers through a pregame workout before determining whether he can play. While Flowers has not been ruled out, Jamison Hensley reported that the Ravens do not sound like they are counting on him being available.
Flowers did not participate in Wednesday or Thursday’s practices before being listed as limited Friday and questionable for Sunday. His return to the field provided some encouragement, but it followed
the same practice pattern that preceded his absence against New Orleans.

The Ravens have looked like a different offense without their most explosive receiver. Baltimore scored four touchdowns on five drives with Flowers on the field during its season-opening victory over Indianapolis. The Ravens have produced three touchdowns over 16 drives since he exited that game.
If Flowers is inactive, Rashod Bateman will be Lamar Jackson’s No. 1 wide receiver for the second straight week. Bateman caught seven passes for 88 yards and a touchdown against the Saints, providing one of the few encouraging developments from Baltimore’s 24-17 loss. Devontez Walker and Chris Moore would also be candidates for larger roles. Baltimore could lean more heavily on Derrick Henry and its rushing attack against a Dallas defense that has struggled to stop the run.
The Ravens’ final decision on Flowers will be revealed when the team announces its inactive list before kickoff.
