The Ravens’ margin for error is shrinking as their schedule gets considerably tougher.
According to ESPN Analytics, Baltimore played the NFL’s easiest schedule through six games, facing the Colts, Saints, Cowboys, Titans, Falcons, and Browns. The remaining schedule ranks seventh-toughest, with eight of the Ravens’ final 11 games coming against teams that currently have winning records, ESPN’s Jamison Hensley reported.
That makes Sunday’s 13-10 loss to Cleveland more costly. Baltimore fell to 4-2 after surrendering an early 10-0 lead, wasting a defensive performance that allowed five sacks and only 237 yards. The Ravens finished with 235 yards, and Derrick Henry’s lost fumble supplied Cleveland with a short field for its only touchdown.
The next
three opponents present a substantial test: Cincinnati at 3-2, Buffalo at 5-1 and Jacksonville at 4-2. The Bills and Jaguars lead their divisions, while the Bengals have a chance to tighten the AFC North race. Baltimore will also face Cincinnati and Buffalo immediately after their bye weeks, giving both opponents more time to prepare.

For the Ravens, the concern extends beyond the opponents’ records. Tyler Huntley threw for 165 yards against Cleveland, Henry managed 58 rushing yards, and Baltimore failed to score after building its early advantage. That level of production leaves little room for a turnover, missed field goal, or decisive penalty.
Baltimore remains positioned to contend, but its opening six games offered a more forgiving path than the stretch ahead. The Ravens need to turn strong defensive performances into wins and generate a more consistent offense before a difficult schedule compounds the opportunities they've already missed.
