The New Orleans Saints have signed former Baltimore Ravens second-round pick David Ojabo to their practice squad ahead of their Monday night Week 4 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, according to the NFL's Transaction Wire.
Ojabo was one of seven free agents who visited New Orleansfor a workout. Among those seven, three were running backs, three were defensive ends, and one was a linebacker. The move comes as Travis Etienne Jr., Anfernee Jennings, and Pete Werner have all suffered injuries over the past week.
Ojabo, 26, has struggled to carve out a consistent role in the NFL since the Baltimore Ravens selected him in the second round in 2022. His early NFL career was hindered by a torn Achilles sustained during his pro day, followed by an ACL
injury in 2023, which further delayed his progress. Over his four seasons with the Ravens, Ojabo recorded 4.5 sacks and 2 tackles for loss. In 2026, he signed with the Miami Dolphins' practice squad, but was ultimately released during final roster cuts.
