Tavius Robinson is giving the Baltimore Ravens
a reason to look beyond their established names when assessing the pass rush. The edge defender enters Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys with at least a half-sack in four consecutive games dating to last season, a streak tied for the second-longest active run in the NFL, according to Ravens Communications. He has recorded a full sack in each of his past three games.Robinson has a sack in each of Baltimore's first two games this season. He also has five tackles, and the Ravens credited him with four quarterback hits in their opener against the Colts. goes beyond getting to the quarterback. At 6-foot-6 and 262 pounds, Robinson has the size and physical approach to set an edge against the run and work closer to the interior when Baltimore's front calls for it. That flexibility helps the Ravens keep a capable run defender on the field without giving up a pass-rush threat.

Dallas will test that streak. The Cowboys have allowed only two sacks through two games, so Baltimore cannot count on easy chances against Dak Prescott. If Robinson can help contain the run and make Prescott move off his spot, his impact could extend well beyond whether he adds another sack.
