The Baltimore Ravens are adding an experienced and versatile option to their offensive line before the beginning of the regular season. Veteran offensive lineman Chuma Edoga plans to sign with Baltimore, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. The Ravens have not announced the move or disclosed whether Edoga will initially join the active roster or practice squad.
Edoga has appeared in 62 regular-season games with 25 starts over seven NFL seasons. He has experience playing both tackle positions and has also worked at guard, giving Baltimore another potential swing lineman capable of filling multiple roles.
The New York Jets selected Edoga in the third round of the 2019 NFL draft out of Southern California. He spent his first three seasons with the New York Giants
before joining the Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys, and Jacksonville Jaguars.
Edoga appeared in all 17 games for Jacksonville during the 2025 season, making six starts—four at left tackle and two at left guard. That positional flexibility should help him compete for a reserve role behind Baltimore’s starting offensive line.
The Ravens kept nine offensive linemen on their initial 53-man roster. Gerad Lichtenhan, Nick Dawkins and AJ Arcuri provide additional depth on the practice squad, but the season-ending knee injury suffered by Danny Pinter reduced the number of experienced options available during training camp.
Edoga gives Baltimore another player who has handled regular-season starting assignments. He could compete with Carson Vinson and Emery Jones Jr. for work as a reserve tackle while also providing emergency depth inside.
A corresponding move will be required if Baltimore adds Edoga to its active roster. Regardless of his initial designation, the signing gives the Ravens proven depth at a position where injuries can quickly alter a team’s plans.
