NFL training camps are underway, but five players who spent time with the Baltimore Ravens last season remain unsigned.
Baltimore reshaped its roster through free agency and the draft, leaving several veterans searching for new opportunities. The Ravens’ official free-agent tracker continues to list Taven Bryan, DeAndre Hopkins, Joseph Noteboom, Brent Urban and Kyle Van Noy as unemployed.
Taven Bryan
Bryan joined Baltimore’s practice squad in September and was promoted to the active roster in November. He appeared in five games and recorded one-half sack before an ankle injury sent him to injured reserve.
The former first-round pick has 12 career sacks and experience playing multiple positions along the defensive front. At 30, he could provide affordable rotational
depth for a team affected by injuries during camp.
DeAndre Hopkins
Hopkins caught 22 passes for 330 yards and two touchdowns during his only season with Baltimore. His 37 targets ranked behind Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews while placing him in a similar range to Rashod Bateman and Isaiah Likely.
The five-time Pro Bowler remains technically unsigned, but he is expected to join Georgia Tech’s offensive staff after recently spending time observing the Patriots’ coaches and personnel department. Hopkins has not announced his retirement, although his movement toward coaching could signal the end of his 13-year playing career.
Joseph Noteboom
Noteboom played 151 offensive snaps as Baltimore’s swing tackle and earned a 34.1 pass-blocking grade from Pro Football Focus. His 68.2 run-blocking grade was considerably stronger.
The 31-year-old has appeared in 81 career games with 36 starts. His experience at both tackle spots and guard could make him a late addition for a team needing versatile line depth.
Brent Urban
Urban returned for another stint with Baltimore after remaining unsigned for much of the previous offseason. He appeared in 15 games in 2025, recording 19 tackles and one-half sack.
The veteran’s familiarity with multiple defensive systems and ability to defend the run could earn him another short-term contract.
Kyle Van Noy
Van Noy experienced a sharp production decline after recording a career-high 12.5 sacks in 2024. He finished last season with 20 tackles and two sacks, his lowest sack total since 2016.
Van Noy has expressed confidence that he can continue playing. Baltimore’s addition of Trey Hendrickson and the development of Mike Green, Tavius Robinson and Zion Young make a reunion less likely, but his leadership and pass-rushing history could still interest a contender.
