Another former Raven has found a new home outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy has found his next NFL opportunity with a familiar defensive coach. Van Noy is signing with the Minnesota Vikings and will initially join their practice squad while preparing for a potential role on the active roster, according to ESPN.
The move reunites the 35-year-old pass rusher with Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores. Van Noy played under Flores with the New England Patriots and later joined him with the Miami Dolphins in 2020. Flores coached New England’s linebackers during three of Van Noy’s seasons with the organization. They were together for the Patriots’ victories in Super Bowls LI and LIII, giving Minnesota a veteran defender who already understands the expectations
and versatility required in Flores’ system.
Van Noy spent the previous three seasons in Baltimore, earning his first Pro Bowl selection following a career-high 12.5-sack performance in 2024. His production declined to two sacks in 2025, but he still started 13 games and recorded an interception.
Minnesota can use Van Noy as an experienced reserve behind Dallas Turner and former Ravens target Andrew Van Ginkel. The Vikings also needed additional depth after losing Tyler Batty to a torn ACL during the preseason.
Van Noy has recorded 57 sacks, 14 forced fumbles and four interceptions across 173 career games.
