Jadeveon Clowney's NFL journey has come full circle. According to NFL Network insiders Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport, the former Baltimore Ravens edge rusher has agreed to terms with theHouston Texans, returning to the franchise that selected him with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
He reportedly drew interest from the Cleveland Browns. Garafolo also reports he drew interest from several other organizations.

Clowney spent one season in Baltimore in 2023 after signing a one-year contract. He rewarded the Ravens
with one of the better seasons of his career, appearing in all 17 regular-season games while making 15 starts. He finished with 9.5 sacks, 43 total tackles, five passes defended and two forced fumbles before adding another sack in Baltimore's AFC Championship Game loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
The former three-time Pro Bowler has become one of the league's ultimate veterans for hire since leaving Houston after the 2018 season. Following five years with the Texans, Clowney has suited up for six teams in seven seasons before deciding to return to the organization where his NFL career began.
Garafolo reported that Clowney's visit was productive, but in the end, he elected against joining the Ravens' rival, which would have been another reunion in its own right. Instead, he elected for another, choosing Houston and adding another accomplished veteran to a Texans defense that already ranks among the AFC's most talented.
Baltimore won't have to wait long to see its former pass rusher. The Ravens are scheduled to visit the Texans on Nov. 29 at NRG Stadium in a Week 12 matchup. That one could affect playoff positioning if things play out the way both sides expect. It also now carries another intriguing storyline as the Ravens look to upend a former ally and a team that looks very different from the one he remembers.
