The Baltimore Ravens have revealed their initial 53-man roster, but team construction will continue through the waiver period and the start of practice-squad formation.
Baltimore’s most obvious areas to examine are inside linebacker and the offensive and defensive lines. The Ravens kept four inside linebackers, including Teddye Buchanan, who has been recovering from a significant knee injury. They also retained nine offensive linemen and six defensive linemen. Nnamdi Madubuike remained on the active roster after missing most of last season following neck surgery. Baltimore’s initial roster, therefore, carries several questions about health and depth.
The following vested veterans can sign immediately without passing through waivers. All were listed
among the available NFL free agents entering Monday.
Tyrel Dodson, inside linebacker
Dodson should be Baltimore’s first call. He led Miami with 129 tackles in 2025 before being released during the Dolphins’ roster reduction.
The Ravens have Roquan Smith and Trenton Simpson, but their depth becomes less certain after those two.
Lucas Patrick, center and guard
Patrick has extensive experience at center and guard. That flexibility would make him a sensible addition behind Ethan Pocic and Baltimore’s starting guards.
Elandon Roberts, inside linebacker
Roberts is a physical, downhill linebacker whose strengths are most apparent against the running game. He also brings extensive experience and leadership.
Derrick Nnadi, defensive tackle
Nnadi has spent much of his career doing work that does not always appear on a stat sheet. He occupies blockers, defends the run and allows linebackers to operate cleanly.
Chad Muma, inside linebacker
Muma offers a different profile from Roberts. He is younger, has special-teams experience and could still possess developmental value.
The Patriots released Muma after he accumulated 103 tackles, 1½ sacks and three passes defensed during his career.
Tyre Phillips, offensive lineman
Phillips already understands the expectations associated with playing in Baltimore. The former Ravens draft pick has experience at guard and tackle, making him a logical emergency option.
Maurice Hurst II, defensive tackle
Hurst would offer interior pass-rushing ability rather than serving solely as a run defender. That could make him a complementary addition to Baltimore’s current group.
Geno Stone, safety
Stone’s previous tenure in Baltimore makes this an obvious connection. He understands the organization and has demonstrated an ability to produce takeaways when given opportunities.
Malik Harrison, linebacker
Harrison is another former Raven who could provide immediate familiarity. He has experience playing inside linebacker, working on the edge and contributing on special teams.
Nick Leverett, center and guard
Leverett would provide another option for Baltimore’s unsettled interior depth. He has experience at center and guard and could compete for an active game-day role.
