Lamar Jackson’s absence duringWednesday's media viewing period was not a rest day, but the Baltimore Ravens quarterback still practiced. Jackson was officially listed as limited with a back injury on Baltimore’s first injury report before Sunday’s Week 4 matchup against the Tennessee Titans
. He spoke with reporters before practice and discussed the upcoming game without suggesting his availability was in doubt.The designation makes Jackson’s participation Thursday and Friday worth monitoring, but a limited practice is more encouraging than a complete absence. Baltimore appears to be managing its quarterback after a physical 34-31 victory over the Dallas Cowboys in Brazil.
Jackson was one of seven Ravens listed as limited. Wide receiver Zay Flowers
and cornerback Marlon Humphrey were listed with hamstring injuries. Wide receiver Chris Moore was limited with an ankle injury, left guard John Simpson with a groin injury, tight end Durham Smythe with a heel injury, and left tackle Ronnie Stanley with a toe injury.

Four players did not participate.
Defensive lineman Calais Campbell received a non-injury-related rest day. Outside linebacker Trey Hendrickson was listed with a finger injury, while Baltimore’s problems at center remained evident. Jovaughn Gwyn did not practice because of an ankle designation after reportedly suffering a fractured fibula against Dallas. Ethan Pocic also sat out with a knee injury. Baltimore has signed veteran center Andre James and guard Kyle Hergel to the practice squad as protection for an offensive line that could turn to rookie Vega Ioane at center. Ioane has started the Ravens’ first three games at guard but has yet to start an NFL game at center.
Jackson’s back injury commands the most attention, but the offensive-line situation remains Baltimore’s largest structural concern. The Ravens will need improved participation later in the week before facing a Titans defensive front led by Jeffery Simmons.
