One of the few teams worthy of being named Super Bowl contenders after missing the playoffs with a losing record in 2025, the Ravens have enough high-end talent to contend for a championship. Still, their strongest position groups also possess the depth needed to survive a long season.
1. Secondary
Kyle Hamilton is one of the NFL’s most versatile defenders. Nate Wiggins, Marlon Humphrey, Chidobe Awuzie, Malaki Starks and Jaylinn Hawkins give Baltimore proven ability at every starting spot. Chandler Rivers, T.J. Tampa Jr., Keyon Martin and Keondre Jackson strengthen the depth.
2. Outside linebacker
Trey Hendrickson gives Baltimore an established double-digit sack threat. Mike Green is positioned for a larger second-year role, while Tavius Robinson, Zion Young and Ethan Burke offer
different combinations of length, power and developmental upside.
3. Defensive line
Nnamdi Madubuike and Travis Jones form the foundation. Calais Campbell adds leadership and versatility, while Broderick Washington Jr., John Jenkins and Aeneas Peebles can rotate into specialized roles.
4. Quarterback
Lamar Jackson makes quarterback one of Baltimore’s strongest positions by himself. Tyler Huntley knows the organization and can manage the offense if needed. Joe Fagnano gives the Ravens a young passer to develop after earning his roster spot.
5. Wide receiver
Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman provide two established starters. Ja’Kobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt add size, while Devontez Walker and LaJohntay Wester provide vertical speed and return ability.
Inside linebacker and tight end remain competitive, but both groups contain questions beyond their established starters.
