Baltimore opened the season with a 41-23 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. New Orleans fell to Detroit in overtime despite Tyler Shough passing for 410 yards. The Ravens will be without Zay Flowers, leaving Rashod Bateman, Chris Moore, and Baltimore’s tight ends with expanded roles. Chris Olave and Chase Young are expected to play for New Orleans.

The Ravens entered the weekend as heavy home favorites after producing more than 500 yards of offense against Indianapolis.
Ravens injury updates
Baltimore ruled out wide receiver Zay Flowers with the hamstring injury he aggravated in the season opener. Flowers had five catches for 150 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game against Indianapolis. The Ravens also ruled out defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike and linebacker Teddye Buchanan.
Left tackle Ronnie Stanley, left guard John Simpson and outside linebacker Trey Hendrickson were listed as questionable. Hendrickson is expected to play with a cast after breaking a finger into several pieces during the week.
Cornerback T.J. Tampa was placed on injured reserve because of a knee injury. Wide receiver Ja’Kobi Lane is also on injured reserve following wrist surgery.
Saints injury updates
Wide receiver Chris Olave was listed as questionable with a hamstring injury but is expected to play. Outside linebacker Chase Young is also expected to play after calf soreness.
Monitor running back Kendre Miller’s status after he was listed with a toe injury.
Ravens inactives
Zay Flowers, Nnamdi Madubuike and Teddye Buchanan have already been ruled out.
Saints inactives
New Orleans’ inactive list will be released approximately 90 minutes before kickoff.
Who is replacing Zay Flowers for the Ravens?
Baltimore will need several players to absorb Flowers’ targets and snaps. Rashod Bateman becomes the Ravens’ most experienced available wide receiver, while Chris Moore, Devontez Walker, LaJohntay Wester, Elijah Sarratt and Xavier Guillory provide additional options. The Ravens can also expand the passing-game roles of tight ends Mark Andrews, Isaiah Likely and rookie Matthew Hibner. Offensive coordinator Declan Doyle could lean more heavily on multiple-tight end formations and Baltimore’s running game.
Who is starting at left tackle for the Ravens?
Stanley’s game-day status will determine Baltimore’s starting offensive line. If Stanley cannot play, rookie Carson Vinson is a candidate to start at left tackle. That decision matters more because Young is expected to play for New Orleans. The Ravens could use tight ends, running backs, and condensed formations to protect Jackson.
