Injuries have created opportunities, and players are taking advantage
Every NFL season tests a team's depth, and the Ravens are already seeing the benefits of younger players stepping into bigger roles. If injuries hadn't sidelined players such as Zay Flowers and Ja'Kobi Lane earlier in the season, Chris Moore might never have had the chanceto carve out a meaningful role.
Instead, he has become a reliable contributor who continues to deliver in key moments. That includes his touchdown reception against Dallas.

Matthew Hibner also answered the call when Baltimore needed him most. His fourth-quarter touchdown helped spark the Ravens during one of the game's biggest moments and reinforced the coaching staff's confidence in its depth.

The injuries did not stop there. After both centers exited the game, Vega Ioane moved from guard to center and helped stabilize the offensive line. Those are valuable snaps for a young player, and experiences like that often pay dividends later in the season.
If Baltimore can clean up the penalties, watch out
The Ravens continue to make life harder than it needs to be. Baltimore was flagged nine times for 78 yards against Dallas, and several of those penalties directly extended Cowboys drives.
The Ravens also struggled in several situational areas, yet still managed to score 34 points and leave Brazil with a victory. That should be an encouraging thought for the coaching staff. The Ravens have not played their cleanest football through three weeks, but they have shown they possess enough talent to overcome mistakes. If they begin eliminating some of the self-inflicted wounds, their ceiling rises considerably.
The pass rush still has another level to reach
The defense continues to find ways to make critical plays, but it still has room to grow up front. Baltimore has recorded six sacks through three games, a number that feels low given the talent on the roster.
Consistent pressure can solve many defensive issues, from reducing coverage stress to creating more turnover opportunities. The encouraging news is that the Ravens have already shown they can win games without a dominant pass rush. If the front starts generating more disruption, the defense could become significantly more dangerous.
Tyler Loop is turning a question mark into a strength
Few players have helped themselves more through three weeks than Tyler Loop. The rookie kicker is now five for six on field-goal attempts this season. His only miss came on a blocked kick, while his successful attempts include makes from 56 and 57 yards.
Against Dallas, Loop calmly delivered the game-winning field goal in one of the biggest moments of Baltimore's season. A position that generated questions throughout the offseason is beginning to look like a strength.
The Ravens still have areas they need to improve, but victories like Sunday's show why optimism remains high. Depth is emerging, young players are gaining valuable experience, and confidence is growing across the roster. Those are building blocks worth carrying into October.
