The Baltimore Ravens are adding another developmental option to their offensive line entering the regular season.
Baltimore is signing former Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman AJ Arcuri to its practice squad, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. The move gives Arcuri a fresh start after spending the first four years of his professional career with the Rams. Los Angeles selected Arcuri in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL draft out of Michigan State. The 6-foot-7, 320-pound lineman has primarily worked at offensive tackle and provides Baltimore with another experienced option who can develop behind its active roster group.
Arcuri appeared in two regular-season games for the Rams during his first three NFL seasons, including one start. Although
his opportunities were limited, he spent multiple years learning within an organization that consistently asked its offensive linemen to execute a varied running game and operate effectively in play-action concepts.

Baltimore’s decision to sign Arcuri provides the team with additional insurance at a premium position. Practice-squad linemen are often needed throughout a 17-game regular season as injuries and weekly roster management test a team’s depth.
Arcuri also offers the size and length that Ravens offensive line coach Dwayne Ledford can continue to develop. He will have time to learn Baltimore’s terminology and blocking system without immediately being forced into the lineup.
The Ravens finalized their initial practice squad earlier in the week, but those units remain fluid throughout the season. Adding Arcuri allows Baltimore to evaluate a young, experienced tackle while giving the former seventh-round pick an opportunity to establish himself in a new organization.
