The Baltimore Ravens will showcase their new “Next Flight” uniform collection during three home games, including two nationally televised matchups in November. Baltimore previously announced that it would wear its all-white “White Noise” combination for the Sept. 20 home opener against the New Orleans Saints. The Ravens have now confirmed the debut dates for their “Purple Rising” and “Darkness Falls”
looks.The all-purple Purple Rising combination will debut against the Jacksonville Jaguars on “Thursday Night Football” on Nov. 5. The updated look includes a purple helmet featuring Baltimore’s primary Ravens logo.
Eleven days later, the Ravens will introduce Darkness Falls when they host the Los Angeles Chargers on “Monday Night Football” on Nov.
16. That matchup will carry additional significance for head coach Jesse Minter, who previously served as the Chargers’ defensive coordinator.
Baltimore’s popular all-black combination will be paired with a matte-black helmet. Its details include two-tone talon stripes and a front-facing secondary Ravens logo with red eyes. Fans are being encouraged to wear purple against Jacksonville and black against Los Angeles, creating coordinated stadium themes for both primetime games.
“We can’t wait to welcome fans back to M&T Bank Stadium this season,” Ravens senior vice president of marketing Brad Downs said in the team’s announcement.
Downs added that the two night games will allow Baltimore to display the new uniforms and the atmosphere at M&T Bank Stadium before a national audience. The Ravens also announced their full home promotional schedule. Events include Latino Heritage during the home opener, Crucial Catch against Tennessee, Salute to Service against Jacksonville and Inspire Change for the Dec. 27 matchup with Cleveland.
Baltimore will also recognize the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year program and hold its Ravens Family Food and Funds Drive when Tampa Bay visits on Dec. 13.
